About this Event

Each year, the Joe Torry "Giving Back The Love" Foundation gives back to the community by holding an annual Back To School Giveaway. Held for years at the Herbert Hoover Boys Club in St. Louis, the event relocated in 2004 to Wohl Community Center, 1515 N. Kingshighway, on the corner of Martin Luther King and North Kingshighway.

The event is about more than school supplies. Through the generous donations of our sponsors and assistance from others, there are barbers on hand for hair cuts, medical personnel for blood screening, music to keep everyone in a festive mood, and food snacks.
